Third Party Watch

No one really pays much attention to the Communist Party of the United States any more. It’s been decades since they’ve run a Presidential ticket, and they seem to be largely keeping to themselves electorally speaking.

However, I did notice something a little funny when I recently checked up on their website to see if the party was still alive or not. It turns out that for only $15 I could own this very stylish CPUSA travel mug…

And for a mere $20 I can get my hands on this awesome Communist Party baseball cap…

It seems a little strange to me for the Communist Party – the enemies of capitalism and materialism – to have a gift shop. Oh well, times have changes I guess. A lot.
