Potts Promises “Greatest Political Upset” in Virginia History

Russ Potts, Republican State Senator and Independent candidate for Governor of Virginia, has delievered enough signatures to qualify for a spot on the November ballot. In an address to a small crowd of supporters, Potts said that his campaign was running to win and promised to deliver the “greatest political upset in the history of Virginia.”

His problem now is raising enough money to be a factor in the Fall. To date, the Potts campaign has raised roughly $500,000 (with only $180,000 of that remaining at this point). His opponants, Republican Kilgore and Democrat Kaine have each raised close to $10,000,000 so far.
