Green Party Activist Found “Not Guilty”

Green Party peace activist June Brashares was found not guilty on all charges relating to her activity at the 2004 Republican National Convention.

From the Green Party press release: Brashares, who works with Code Pink and other peace groups, was arrested during a well-televised protest in which she stood on a chair and held up a handmade sign she smuggled into the convention center in her pantyhose that said: “Bush Lies. People Die.”
