I first saw Kinky on the Donny Deutch show. Donny Deutch is a good argument for the death penalty.

I saw Kinky on CSPAN today and he came off a lot, LOT better. Plus, the only politician to EVER stand up for atheists--Jesse Ventura--supports Kinky. So he can't be that bad.

A governor advocating prayer in school is pretty irrelavent, as pointed out by esso. It still bugs me. He advocates stronger public schools + prayer in them. That's bad philosophy. But he's still far better than the alternatives to the extent that I still might send him $20. Like I said to my wife, in Texas, probably even the Democrat advocates theocracy.

Ah! I am absolutely 100% positive that I have not read the term "funraisers" before I coined the term in late October with all the national media attention that picked up on my unorthodox ways of raising cash for my congressional campaign.

I'm going to hope that it was just a neat little phrase I have now made famous :)

I can't say that Kinky is a refined thinker either, but he certainly isn't parsing his words and being evasive like most politicians. As for pro prayer in school I don't know the details on his stance on this topic. And we probably won't until after he gets on the ballot.

School-sponsored prayer has been struck down by the Supreme Court; student-led prayer is still fine. Students can (and often do) pray by themselves at any appropriate time.

I'm not familiar with Mr. Friedman's music, nor am I all that familiar with him at all, but I was immediately attracted to his campaign... Until he opened his mouth.

He's pro gay marriage, but pro prayer in school. He thinks this makes him novile. In reality, it shows him to be an unrefined thinker without any sort of political philosophy--just like 99% of the politicians from which he thinks he's so different.

If you want to pray in a school, build your own. Abolish public schools altogether and don't spend one dime of my tax dollars on ruining the minds of children, and you can pray all day. My kids will go to a school where don't teach fairy tales and monster stories and we'll see who ends up on top. In the meantime, don't pray in my school and I won't think in your church.
