Libertarian Leadership School Reminder
I just wanted to remind everyone that the LP’s new online training tool, the Libertarian Leadership School, is still registering people for classes.
Even if you’re not planning to run for office this year… or heck, even if you aren’t a Libertarian… this looks to be a really good experience for anyone who wants to brush up on their campaigning or party-building skills.
I’ve enrolled in two courses that start on January 31st… Campaign Management taught by Stephen Gordon, and Personal Health and Appearance taught by Joe Starrs and Joe Giganti. The campaign management class looks to be a good introduction to the basics of running a campaign while the appearance class appears to focus on stuff like looking good on television, facial expressions, and other similar issues dealing with perception.
Looks to be a interesting and valuable experience all around, and one that’s worth checking out if you haven’t yet…

I’m a graduate of the Leadership Institute. They teamed up with the LP of Texas earlier this year in Austin.
Is the Leadership School basing their stuff of Li? I’d hope so, you can’t go wrong with the Leadership Inst.
Hey Austin, in one of those days you don’t have too much to report on, the Institute for Humane Studies is by far the best indoctrination program for young liberty-minded folks. And the seminars are free. I’m a 2003 graduate of an IHS Liberty & Current Issues seminar at Georgetown University.

It really shook my beliefs, and it was so much fun. Just on an academic level, the IHS was so cool.
I know that sounded like a paid advertisement, but it’s more of a testimonial.

Austin,
I’m also going to be in the Campaign Mgmt course and look forward to “seeing you” there.

I’ll “see” both of you in Campaign Management. I also signed up for Candidate Recruiting and Blogging 101.
