Today’s candidate of the day is Andrew Halcro for Governor of Alaska.

Halcro is a successful businessman and a former 2-term State Representative. He’s running for governor as an independent. With his qualifications and Alaska’s history of being open to voting for non-major party candidates, this race could become one of the surprise stories of the year.
