Today’s candidate of the day is Aaron Dixon for U.S. Senate.

Dixion is the Green Party candidate for the Washington U.S. Senate seat currently occupied by Maria Cantwell. He is a former official of the Black Panther Party and has an extensive resume of leftist activism.

It is believed by many that Cantwell was elected to her seat in 2000 because of Libertarian candidate Jeff Jared. Her margin of victory over the Republican was less than 3,000 votes and Jared captured nearly 65,000. Now it semms possible that a third party candidate could help cost her the election this time around.
