Today’s candidate of the day is Laura Wells for California Controller.
Wells is running to be the Green Party’s candidate for state Controller. She was also the GP nominee for this office in 2002 and placed 3rd with 419,873 votes or 5.8% of the total cast.

Paul Wayne Snyder (PhD in Sociology) met her a couple of years back. He said she ‘had a good head on her shoulders’, and was over all favorably impressed. (However, she did let the veterans abuse issue drop and she has not kept us with us after a lively and friendly start where we had mailed her often.)
