Two Elected Progressives Aim Higher

Vergennes Mayor and Progressive Party member April Jin has declared that she will seek a seat in the Vermont State legislature this year. The press release.

Also running for a seat in the Vermont State House this year will be Progressive School Commissioner Chris Haessly of Burlington. The press release.

The Vermont Progressive Party currently boasts an impressive six elected state legislators and another ten local officials including the mayor of Burlington (Bob Kiss), four city councilors, and four school board members.
