I’m going to bed now…

Some last minute gubernatorial numbers and then I’m off to sleep.

In Texas, Strayhorn took 18% for third place and Friedman was back in fourth at 12%.

In Alaska, Andrew Halcro is picking up 10%.

In Minnesota, Peter Hutchinson has 6% of the vote.

In Illinois, Green candidate Rich Whitney has pulled in an impressive 11% of the vote.

In Maine, Pat LaMarche has 10% and independent candidate Barbara Merrill has posted a very impressive 21%.

In Senate races, Lieberman and Sanders have both been elected as independents and will (presumably) caucus with the Democrats next year.

Have any news or results? Particularly anything about winning races, please post in the comments section!

State Representative, Dist 106 DISTRICT 106

(WITH 35 OF 35 PRECINCTS COUNTED)
    Kirk England (REP) . . . . . . . 10,452 49.15
    Katy Hubener (DEM) . . . . . . . 10,221 48.07
    Gene Freeman (LIB) . . . . . . . 591 2.78

Freeman cost the Dem this seat. If my math is correct.

State Representative, Dist 107 DISTRICT 107

(WITH 58 OF 58 PRECINCTS COUNTED)
    Bill Keffer (REP). . . . . . . . 15,143 46.70
    Allen Vaught (DEM) . . . . . . .16,246 50.10
    Chris Jones (LIB). . . . . . . . 1,038 3.20

Jones cost Keffer I think. Keffer was one of THE most conservative (fiscally) in the state House.
