Female suffrage? Really? I’d have thought that for the supporters of the “Constitution” Party letting females vote would be a dead issue, what with female suffrage being part of the Constitution for 87 years.

=It's only a issue for the dissenters and nutjobs that tried to cause trouble in the CP. Suffrage never was a CP issue in the first place!

The way to stop the illegal "invasion" is to simply legalize all peaceful workers.

Problem solved.

NAFTA may not be perfect (Andy), but anything that expands global trade is good.

These are the issues on which the CP rears its stridently anticapitalist head. What is the difference between a Paul-Havery Conservative and an Al-Gore liberal? They both want to cramp global economic growth and return things to an idealic time that never really existed.

The last thing you guys want is the abortion issue to be resolved. Roe v. Wade simply guarantees the right to an abortion while the fetus is not viable. It does not guarantee the right to a late-term abortion. Something like 70%+ of Americans favor legalized abortion in the first trimester. The vast majority oppose "partial-birth" abortions. After 35 years of bitching about this crap, it's all starting to come to a head: First trimester abortions are going to be legal, third trimester abortions are going to be illegal, and states will determine the legality of second-trimester abortions. Once things get to this point, the wind will be completely taken out of the "pro-life" movement.

Abortion has been beat to death. Don’t get me wrong, it is important…but it doesn’t electrify like it used to. North American Union in the new issue for the CP to grasp. As Howard Phillips said tonight, “We must own the NAU issue”.

=Trent stop reading my thoughts- it's not funny!

Louisiana is far more concentrated on NAFTA/NAU/SPP and Taxes also.
Illegal immigration too.

I can only speak for Missouri but most of our members especially the news ones are because of the immigration issue. Not pro life. I think I am the only one who still talks about it a lot. The other officers are working hard on the immigration issue and NAU/NAFTA. I am working on the old school issues like abortion and taxes. In fact i got the Missouri right to life endorsement in the last election. Our efforts have been focused on Illegal invasion. So GE as for Missouri you are clueless. Which based on what I have read from you in other post clueless has fit you well.

He did announce his name change. However GE, don't be surprised. That was one post on one thread. Not everyone reads every thread.

HAHAHA. You should actually READ the Bibe...you clearly don't understand it at all.

Bringing it into the light? I announced my name conversion on this site, moron.

Ban MySpace? I love MySpace! Banning is your job.

Read Psalm 2? No thanks. "Christ" preached a doctrine of suicide and he acted out what he preached. I only wish you would all follow in his footsteps.

GE-
anti choice? That is so 1980's my friend. no one has the "right" to chose evil or to murder others.

BTW-the CP is not Theocractic, but since Christ is King of all, then we all are truly in a Theocracy, whether one wishes to admit it or not. Read Psalm 2 to start with. I have had my bouts with the TAV crowd on my old blog (catholicresistence.blogspot.com), but they are right-Christ is King, all else is 2nd at best

Well, if MySpace is evil, bring out this arguement to its logical conclusion-all internet is evil-we need to ban it compeltely, eh cousins??

Cody, that might be true. I guess what I meant to say is that most of the current CP members joined over their abortion stance.

=True, true, unfortunately a lot of those people have shown themselves to be religious nuts, I'm not saying all that joined the CP for that reason were. But a lot of them were very extreme and were a part of the exodus out of the Party.

Most of those people also joined after 1999 too.

They are, that is part of the reason I joined.
Before I joined the CP, I described myself as a homeless conservative.

Then the CP started advocating its anti-illegal stance and its small government credentials. I was encouraged and joined the party--figuring I would simply follow their progress and hope they had a candidate in my area soon.

Then the Religious Bigots broke away and the CP amplified its other issues.
And I was thouroughly encouraged, started getting involved, become State Contact, and am hoping to have candidate in at least 5 races in '08.

I do think that the CP is starting to advertise their positions on non-abortion issues much more now than they have in the past.
