Badnarik’s New Venture
2004 Libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik – who most recently ran for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 10th District, receiving 4% of the vote after spending $400,000 – is now hosting a radio show, according to the latest from ConstitutionPreservation.org and We The People Radio Network.
Still no word where Badnarik’s campaign manager, Allen Hacker, ran off to or what the status is of the retirement of Badnarik’s campaign debt.

Allen Hacker lives in California, attended the California Libertarian convention last weekend, and was elected to a party office.

Do you remember what office?

Post-convention garbage pick-up, hopefully… ok ok, seriously… fund raiser?

Chief Thetan Control Officer, probably. About all L. Ron Hacker would be good for.

Allen Hacker was elected PR Chief of the California LP, vice president of internet outreach and blog monitoring.

Maybe he’ll be good at it. I hope so, since there’s no reason to throw someone to the dogs because of one failure or ethics accusation. I hope the job doesn’t give him access to the checkbooks, since his suitability in that department has been called into question, but besides that, go Hacker!

Oh, Hacker is definitely capable in some areas, for sure. It’s just incumbent upon the party to put him where his skills can be used best, which is really no different than it should be for any individual for any office. The guy is compassionate, energetic and committed – we should be glad to have him.

If I spent $400,000 and got only 4% of the vote, you people would be fired.

I don’t get it (the above comment).
