They dont have to. They have pwned the RP since Reagan left office. The only reason
there are some cracks is becuase Bush, bless his heart, is splitting the RP coalition with the war.

Two of the top three nominees are pro-choice (yes, Romney too). The other one shuns the Christian Right.
Doesn’t seem to me like the Republican party is courting the Christian Right. Oh,and the Christian Right arent the only people that the CP appeals to. It appeals to alot of non-theist libertarians who are pro-life or anti-illegal alien.

My ideal candidate would have Ron Paul’s foreign policy and civil liberties stances, Larry Kudlow’s economic/trade/immigration platform, and a liberal Democrat’s support for reproductive rights and civil unions.
