Check this out from politics1.com
---
And speaking of former NYC Mayor Ed Koch (D), he told the New York Post he will campaign around the nation next year bashing his old rival Rudy Giuliani (R). "If I had to sum it up in a few minutes I would say he's a control freak -- and the control is over your life," says Koch. In 2004, Koch crossed party lines in the general election to campaign in support of President Bush before Jewish groups in key swing states. Koch said he plans to hit the campaign trail after Giuliani captures the GOP nomination.
---

So a Bush Democrat who held Giuliani's office a term before him is going to be going on the offensive against Giuliani's "control freak" tendencies. A BUSH DEMOCRAT thinks he's too much of a control freak. That's pretty bad.

On CNN, Ron Paul says that Giuliani should be the one who takes back what he said and that "he's hiding behind patriotism"

Sure, destroying people's careers and lives because they are sepected Communists was right. A huh. I believe that.

I would also vote for Dick Cheney for President.

Er... history has proven McCarthy to be a shameless liar who destroyed the lives of the innocent and the freedom of all the people in a grab for personal power. What part of that is right?

McCarthy was a scumbag. The Cheney of his time.

The MIC and the RP cannot last for long without an enemy to fight.
Communism = Terrorism. America must always have an enemy for the RP to use as a bogeyman and the MIC needs one to profit from war. Together, they make a great combo. The Republician party is nothing more than the Military-Industrial-Complex's political wing.

The way that these cackling hens are trying to make Ron's statements appear anti-American is just a political warfare tactic. They know that they're intentionally mischaracterizing his statements, but they don't care. In their minds, this kind of dishonest tactic is political savvy. Whenever the globalists see some real opposition raise its head, they try to shout it down with false accusations based on half-truth, just like they did with Joe McCarthy. So typical, ad nauseum.

I'm not a huge Ron Paul fan, like most people on this site are. However, he has a point. It's a point, however, that the Republican Party could never understand because Republicans believe that, no matter what we do in the world, we are right.

Paul shouldn't have set himself up like that, though. He was in the middle of a conservative debate with a real conservative audience (they cheered Mitt Romney's "double Gitmo" and Giuliani's "use any means necessairy" while not giving McCain much credit for "torture doesn't work.) He may have been 100% correct, but he helped Giuliani look like a tough hero.

I would have asked the Mayor why, if he cares so much about national security, would he not read the 9/11 investigation report and why he would not listen to the CIA concerning the middle east?

If Ron Paul gets a chance to debate again, I'd love to see him take Rudy down hard on this issue.

I would have countered with asking the Mayor if he would have supported the forcible taking of property and internment in concentration camps of Japanese Americans in WW2.

I am coming to the conclusion that Republican=Stupid. It is perfectly appropriate to quote an enemy on the subject of why the enemy opted to attack. DUH!

Know thy enemy is military science 101.

Guliani has declared himself incompetant to be Commander in Chief.

I was dissapointed with Tancredo. He took a cheapshot against a good friend and a real political ally--to try and raise in the polls. Bastard. He needs to drop out and lend his endorsement to Paul.
