Who is throwing around baseless accusations? I point out how one of your people doesn't know the first thing about currency trading, and you say I'm "not well read." Well I did read a little book mentioned above in which your two of your idols are quoted and prominently featured. It is 100% pro-free trade. And as far as "doing little and achieving little," would you like to post bank statements so we can see who is achieving/doing more? Conspiracy theorists and anti-capitalist whiner/losers are the ones who "do little, achieve little."

Andy says:
CAN YOU GET THIS STRAIGHT NOW, OR ARE YOU GOING TO CONTINUE REPEATING THE SAME LIES?

GE does not want to get it, just sound off here for his pathetic existence and entertainment. He likes toand gets off on, throwing around dumb statements and accusations. It is a hallmark of a life spent doing little and achieving little.

He is TPW useful, vilalge idiot. A good reason why many of us do not like coming here anymore.

Free trade = peace and prosperity

Nope, just look around at "prosperity", it is in the hands of a few, whether Capitalists or Communist/socialists. It has not helped anyone south of the border and is nothing more than an attempt at controlling the masses.

Then again, GE is not very well read.

None of the above thinkers had any idea of what motivates man or why he workds. Most were anti-religious thinkers, imbued with Enlightenment ideas and athiesm.

Not a Keynsian. I agree with Keynes's interpretation of what caused the Great Depression, as did Winston Chruchill. Milton Friedman rated Keynes one of the five greatest economists of all time. I don't agree with that. But he did have some good ideas. More bad than good.

I am a follower of David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, and Adam Smith. I also like Friedman and Hayek. Your heroes dismissed and/or were hostile to the original free-market thinkers. The racist Rothbard said that Hayek's "Constitution of Liberty" was an EVIL book.

My favorite modern-day economic thinkers are Larry Kudlow and Art Laffer.

"Oh yeah. 9/11 was an inside job. The NAU is coming. The Fed is a Jewish Conspiracy. Commerce is War. AND NONE OF YOU IDIOTS HAVE EVER SEEN THE INSIDE OF A COLLEGE CLASSROOM."

First off, how do you know whether or not any of us have seen the inside of a college classroom? Jerome Corsi holds a PHD.

Second of all, this statements reveals something about your attitude. It sounds to me like you were brainwashed by the controlled education establishment. You accept whatever they say as gospel. I wouldn't be suprised if you are a Keynsian.

Free trade = peace and prosperity."

"The CP and the Andy wing of the LP thinks they are not. They want poverty and toil. Screw that."

Do you have a reading comprehension problem or something? I have posted about this NUMEROUS TIMES and that is that I AM FOR free trade, but I'm for REAL free trade. NAFTA, GATT, the WTO, CAFTA, and the FTAA do NOT represent REAL free trade. They are in reality schemes for corporate welfare and to give governmental power to unelected, bureaucratic international bodies. Free trade means an abscense of government in trade. I am NOT in favor of increasing tarriffs which is protectionism. The is the same position as Ron Paul.

On the other hand, the Constitution Party WANTS TO INCREASE tarriffs which IS protectionism. I agree with them that those are bad trade agreements and should be eliminated, but I do NOT agree with them about raising tarriffs.

CAN YOU GET THIS STRAIGHT NOW, OR ARE YOU GOING TO CONTINUE REPEATING THE SAME LIES?

Furthermore, what of all the T-bonds China holds? The weak currency would attract higher interest rates, thereby devaluing the existing T-bonds issued at lower interest rates. China would be royally fucking itself.

Go home now. The big boys are here.

Commerce is peace. Only a Marxist would think otherwise.

Trent - You know NOTHING about economics, so shut up. China can't "redeem" its dollars, idiot. It woulud have to BUY Euros with them. In which case, the Euro would appreciate, the dollar depreciate, and all other currencies would move little in relation to either the dollar or the Euro. THAT IS HOW CURRENCIES WORK. So if the dollar depreciated, that would only make it easier for our manufacturers, service providers, etc., to export their goods and services - which is what you want, right?

"Redeem" the dollars. Jesus Christ, you people are fools. Like taking them to the prize counter at the arcade? If China wanted to do that, by the time they were done, the Euro would be so expensive that China's holdings would lose a HUGE portion of their buying power. They couldn't "redeem" their dollars for Euros at a constant rate. It would take them time, and over that time, the purchasing power of the currency held would remain relatively the same.

I think Pat Buchanan said "Commerce is war". And to a degree, it is right. For example, the trade war we are now in with China (and are losing). Free trade is only peaceful when it is not being exploited. China could, right now, redeem all of our U.S. dollars for Euro's,and the value of the dollar would FREEFALL.
They are hostile to us, do you doubt they would do it?

All,

The Constitution guarantees a republican form of govenment(Art.4 Section 4), not a 'partnership' with foreign nations.

Yours,
 Douglas

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AMERICAN INDEPENDENT PARTY OPPOSES NORTH AMERICAN UNION

Published at http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/1/prweb496508.htm

It is the strong belief of the American Independent Party that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) superhighway system or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada. The elite planners behind this project are working toward a borderless North America by 2010, which would be a disaster for U.S. national security and would spell the end of U.S. independence."

Congress has the exclusive power "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations" (Article 1, §8). Congress may not abdicate or transfer to others that constitutional power. We oppose, therefore, the unconstitutional transfer of authority over U.S. trade policy from Congress to agencies, domestic or foreign, which improperly exercise policy-setting functions with respect to U.S. trade policy. Construction of the NAFTA Superhighway System is not within the enumerated powers delegated to Congress, and cannot be rationally construed to be a part of the regulation of commerce between the States, and violates the Tenth Amendment which states, 'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.'

The American Independent Party supports passage of House Concurrent Resolution (H.Con.Res.) 487 "Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada."

The American Independent Party is opposed to the creation of both intrastate and interstate regional entities which exercise tax and police powers without direct responsibility to the voters and the taxpayers which such agencies are alleged to serve. Too often, the objective of those seeking to create such regional bodies is the destruction or usurpation of the people's authority over local or state governments.

Regionalism causes the loss of control by elected officials, with unlimited power reverting to appointees, and adds to the ever-increasing tax burden. Regionalism seeks to dissolve county governments; transfer state powers to a central authority in Washington; administer the affairs of United States citizens through a network of Federal Regions and State Regional subdivisions; seize control of land and production facilities; change our form of government; and reduce Americans to the status of economic serfs on the land which was once theirs.

For further information on the grave threat to U.S. national security and independence posed by the SPP/North American Union initiative, go to http://www.JBS.org/nau/ . For the administration's propaganda on the SPP initiative, go to the U.S. Commerce Department's official SPP website http://www.spp.gov/ .

"The American Independent Party, the California affiliate of the Constitution Party, has been California's only Constitutionally-correct political party since 1968. A vote for the American Independent Party is a vote for return to true Constitutional government," declared State Chairman, Ed Noonan.

Congress has the exclusive power “To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations” (Article 1, §8). Congress may not abdicate or transfer to others that constitutional power. We oppose, therefore, the unconstitutional transfer of authority over U.S. trade policy from Congress to agencies, domestic or foreign, which improperly exercise policy-setting functions with respect to U.S. trade policy. Construction of the NAFTA Superhighway System is not within the enumerated powers delegated to Congress, and cannot be rationally construed to be a part of the regulation of commerce between the States, and violates the Tenth Amendment which states, ‘The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.’

The American Independent Party supports passage of House Concurrent Resolution (H.Con.Res.) 487 “Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada.”

The American Independent Party is opposed to the creation of both intrastate and interstate regional entities which exercise tax and police powers without direct responsibility to the voters and the taxpayers which such agencies are alleged to serve. Too often, the objective of those seeking to create such regional bodies is the destruction or usurpation of the people’s authority over local or state governments.

“The American Independent Party, the California affiliate of the Constitution Party, has been California’s only Constitutionally-correct political party since 1968. A vote for the American Independent Party is a vote for return to true Constitutional government,” declared State Chairman, Ed Noonan.
