People down here don't answer questions about what they believe until consulting with their pastor and local GOP president. Or at least substitute right wing radio, if neither can be reached. If you ask a pastor, he'll ask to be excused and call Pat Robertson to find out. If you ask the GOP president, he'll ask to be excused to call the RNC. They brag about being the party of Lincoln as well. War criminals are heroes these days. Hence the popularity of "W" stickers on cars and trucks. A Yankee might not have any common sense, but down here, nobody has any intellectual, rational sense. They have no problem figuring out what's right in front of their face.
