Ballot Access News
The Green Party is holding a national conference in Reading, Pensylvania, on July 14. Ralph Nader will be one of the speakers. He reportedly will talk about the decision of the Pennsylvania State Courts to require candidates in 2004 and 2006 to pay between $80,000 and $90,000 in costs for having tried to [...]

Perhaps the future has much in store for the GOP, as told by this article by Michael Reagan of Human Events OnLine…
The S.S. GOP is sinking fast, and it looks like Skipper Bush is going down with his ship.
That’s only fair—after all, he’s the one who torpedoed his own ship with the immigration-reform-bill warhead. Not [...]

I’m still thinking he should hijack the Philadelphia Phillies logo and use it as his own:
Phillies 2008 welcomes J. Scott Lewis, a Faculty member at Urbana University in Ohio, as Ohio State Coordinator. The campaign equally welcomes Maria Folsom of East Glacier Park as Montana State Coordinator.
Phillies 2008 is on the move! Friday, June 22, [...]

Should libertarians, independents and Constitution-minded folks try to sway UN policies? Or should we spin our wheels to try to get the US out of the UN?
I ask because a UN official recently blamed the genocide in Darfur (Sudan) on “global warming,” and I immediately thought, “what BS. We should try to reform that organization.”
What [...]

I attended a Ron Paul MeetUp Saturday in Plano. Sixty people packed a library conference room for about two hours. That’s 60 more than a George Phillies, Steve Kubby(hole) or Jerome Corsi campaign MeetUp can attract. Perhaps the campaigns should put on hold their operations for a while to allow for the activism to spill [...]

Austin’s advertisements are working. I noticed the G.E. Smith for President ad on the right-hand sidebar, and browsed the site of yet another candidate for the LP’s presidential nomination. This guy has some serious policy positions—it sounds very intelligent—kinda wordy—but overall, this guy would be someone to have on say, a legislative affairs or policy [...]

No one has sung any eulogies yet, because the Libertarian Party in West Virginia hasn’t quite exhaled its final gasp of air.
For all practical purposes, however, the Libertarians, unable to maintain ballot status, are struggling to survive.
“We’re not dead yet,” media coordinator Richard Kerr of Morgantown said.
“But we’re trying to be resuscitated. We’re on life [...]

At a time when Libertarian Party membership continues to rise, a recent Rasmussen Report survey indicates that Republican Party affiliation continues to decline while Democratic Party affiliation is decreasing, as well.
Republican numbers have been dropping since the November 2004 elections and they continue to decrease with no bottom in sight. For the last four [...]
