Judge Confirms Jury Verdict in Internal Reform Party Court Fight
More RfP news…
Ballot Access NewsOn August 22, U.S. District Court Judge Robert Hinkle, of Tallahassee, Florida, released an order in Reform Party of USA v O’Hara, 4:05cv426. He ruled that there is no basis to set aside the jury verdict of June 25, 2007. That verdict had found that the true national chair of the Reform Party is Rodney Martin, not Charles Foster. The order can be seen here. It is 18 pages and will be a useful and interesting read for anyone interested in Reform Party history. Thanks to John Pittman Hey for this news.

Whoever wins this case pretty much inherits nothing but ashes.
I agree the Reform Party does have a history worth looking as a study of the folly of trying to form a national third party. It cannot be done.

interesting comment, but it is based on a lack of information. the Reform Party ran candidates in 5 States in 2006.
Perhaps now that this silly internal issues is over and the frauds that this web site promoted have been dispatched, the Party can move forward.

Maybe it will, but given it seems there’s more than just two factions of the Reform Party, I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for it to move forward.
