With 16 hours remaining, the graphic on the Ron Paul website shows just over $2.5 million collected. The goal is still stated to be $4 million for October.
I think they really need to rethink how they set these goals to avoid hurting volunteer morale.
Then again, maybe they’re holding some big chunk of off-line donations [...]

It seems that Ron Paul’s new television advertising in New Hampshire is being considered too bland and/or tame by some of his legions of online supporters…
While FMNN predicted that the GOP presidential campaign of Ron Paul might scrap a campaign ad that drew so much criticism over the weekend, the campaign brain-trust apparently thought better. [...]

Slipped into the middle of this article about Ron Paul in Montana is the fact that he’s been endorsed by Constitution Party state representative Rick Jore.
From the Flathead Beacon…

This is a nice newspaper endorsement for Libertarian city council candidate Robert Enders. From the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel…
The council has never had a Libertarian, and putting one there would make the body more interesting. A Libertarian would always raise points not usually made by either Republicans or Democrats.
So we recommend that voters give council [...]

This is just a painful to watch segment. The College Republican tries to speak up for Ron Paul and the anchor says he doesn’t have a chance. The College Democrat can barely hear the guy’s sarcastic questioning of her.
Just a totally pointless timewaster because they don’t have any real news to talk about…

Am I the only one that thinks American high schools partnering with the United Nations on “Model UN,” International Baccalureate programs, or helping raise money on behalf of UNICEF is a bad thing?

About a week ago the Ron Paul campaign refocused their website’s fundraising efforts on a short-term goal of raising $430,000 in three days to air radio ads in some early primary states. The campaign came very close to meeting that number, falling short by just under $30,000.
Part of the thing about that first fundraising [...]

When someone is considered a fringe candidate in the third party world, that indicates the candidate is probably really, really out there. Reason’s David Weigel managed to capture Daniel Imperato trying to steal some thunder from Ron Paul (similar to his meetings with James Dobson, President Bush and Karl Rove) at the Family Research [...]

The Libertarian Party is the only minor party with ballot access in Texas, leaving voters with just three choices – and possibly more with special elections (which are rare) – so here’s a successful option: why can’t Constitution Party of Texas candidates run as Libertarians in a quasi-fusion ticket?
Libertarian Mike Treis of Ellis County is [...]

The Constitution Party of Texas doesn’t have ballot access. If they did, perhaps the REAL ID would become a campaign issue…to Left Behind Christians.
