  1. Skyler McKinley Says:

The Gravel campaign has high-resolution video of the entire event available. If anyone should express an interest, including those on other campaigns, feel free to e-mail me:

  2. Mike Gillis Says:

Awww… where’s Imperato or Milnes? I could use a good laugh.

  3. Eric Dondero Says:

Wow! That was excellent. Good job Libertarian Party of Missouri. Very nice presentation. Like the way they introduced the candidates.

Every one of the candidates on stage looked credible.

Gravel looked like he had gravitas. He definitely came across Presidential.

Root – my guy – just has such a natural speaking ability.

I was surprised by Christian Smith. She’s getting better.

Mary Ruwart – whom I don’t support at all – was very poised, though a bit soft spoken.

Very positive image overall for the Libertarian Party. Not a single goofball on the stage. And that’s saying a lot from former LP Presidential debates.

I say KEEP THE GOOFBALLS OFF THE STAGE! The LP is in the big leagues now, and cannot afford knucklehead third string candidates mucking things up for the TV cameras.

  4. Eric Dondero Says:

    Who are the goofballs?

I won’t say on this very public forum. Scewz me for a sec. Got a frog in my throat…

Ahem, ahem (Daniel Imperato), Cough, cough (Rober Milnes), Hachoo! (Bob Jackson), Cough, Ahem, Cough, Cough (Dave Holist)

  5. Robert Milnes Says:

Anybody who is interested in my campaign not failing should get with it (support) asap or the Gillis’ & Donderos will have their way & not have me to kick around anymore.

  6. Robert Milnes Says:

I need volunteers www.robertmilnes4president2008.com & donations for legal & personal expenses & campaign use up to $5000.

  7. Robert Milnes Says:

    Gillis=Naderite=progressive alliance spoiler/elect the McBush. Dondero=....Donderooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  8. Robert Milnes Says:

Skyler McKinley, listened to me about the lackluster quality of the videotaping at LP/NJPA, did you?

  9. Skyler McKinley Says:

    Robert,

Unlike some of the other campaigns for the Libertarian nomination (I don’t know much about you or yours, so this isn’t a reference to you,) our campaign has professional staffmembers.

I have years of experience in video filming and editing, so I’ll tell you this: the quality of the footage is as good as it could be at that venue.

    Skyler

  10. Hugh Jass Says:

All the candidates were great. My main quelms are with Gravel’s healthcare position and Root, Phillies, and Jingo’s immigration position.

  11. Robert Milnes Says:

Skyler, I don’t think you answered my question.

  12. G.E. Says:

LOL @ the notion of Milnes having a “professional staff.” He needs to be in a PLACE with a professional staff—i.e. a psycho ward.

  13. disinter Says:

What, no Milnes? You have to invite the nutcases in order for these things to be entertaining enough to watch.

  14. Robert Milnes Says:

G.E., I was. The best the Federal Bureau of Prisons has to offer: FCI Butner, North Carolina. Are you saying they failed to “cure” me?

  15. Skyler McKinley Says:

    Robert,

The footage is incredibly high quality, not because of your suggestion, but because we have a professional staff of campaigners.

  16. Robert Milnes Says:

Skyler, do you agree that the videotape quality at LP/NJPA was lackluster, so to speak?

  17. Dave Williams Says:

Milnes, dude, for someone who spews so much political science ‘fiction’ one would think that you could read and comprehend the English language…
    N o , y o u d i d n ’ t h a v e s h i t t o d o w i t h t h e i r v i d e o.

IT SUCKED, YOU SUCKED…Let it go…

  20. Dave Williams Says:

    Root, Phillies, Ruwart…yes.

    Smith, Gravel, Jingozian…no.

Root on Tort reform: “HRC, BHO, JE they’re lawyers, they’re the problem.” Sweet.

  21. Dave Williams Says:

Phillies; “I teach rocket science in the morning, and the hard stuff in the afternoon.” A nerd with a sense of humor, what more can we ask for ladies and gentleman?

  22. frank Says:

i enjoyed the debate very much. Gravel by far seemed the most presidential. I really liked his experience and Jingozians focus. I think they will make a great team on the national scale

  23. Robert Milnes Says:

Dave Williams, I notice that all the candidates had their own microphone, unlike as I noted LP/NJPA. But I’m sure it is Skyler’s professionalism having nothing to do with my comments.

  24. Dave Williams Says:

News flash Milnes, this video SUCKED too…

    LOL!

  26. G.E. Says:

When it comes down to it, I would vote for any of these people (maybe even Barr included) vs. McCain vs. Clinton/Obama. Then again, maybe I’m just feeling gracious cuz it’s my birthday and I’m hella drunk! (And on TPW at 3:50 AM, which shows what a winner I am).

  27. Fuyck Ewe Says:

I would rather suck Milnes Dick then read one more post from Dave Molestor Williams.

  28. DebbieKat Says:

I’m a Gravel supporter and I think he was excellent as usual. I thought Ruwart, Jingozian and Phillies had some good things to say, too, even though I didn’t agree with their views on everything. Smith and Root were just a little too much for me overall.
