BTW, Cody, my departure from the CP could hardly be called a temper tantrum.

= Blaiming Mormons and including a Jack Chic tract which I easily refuted isn't a temper tantrum?

My resignation letter was in my pocket at the disaffiliation meeting last spring, and the letter that most people have read was already written and to be sent out to the CPMN via e-mail when I got home. Disappointed that the CPMN chose to remain w/ the national CP? Yes. Suprised? No.

= Disappointed in you leaving? No.

I was really quite surprised and flattered that you and Chris Hansen took any notice of my departure at all.

= I believed I included it in with the article of Minnesota voting on rejecting disaffiliation.

Minnesota is just a little backwater welfare state of the CP when compared to the AIPCA and the IAPNV. I expected a few raised eyebrows in Minnesota, but never to get the press that it did.

= yeah, it seems that the ex-CP'ers were on a roll when Idaho, Minnesota, and others states turned down disaffiliation. and also the disaffiliated states easily got replaced.

I expected that it would eventually make its way to Chris Hansen and a few others, but that it would be met with a shrug. When Chris Hansen sent out his scathing retort to my letter and your posting of it on TPW, I really had no choice but to forward it out further than Minnesota. There were too many people asking to actually read what I wrote and wondering what the big deal was.

= And I took the liberty of refuting the Jack Chic cartoon you included. Too bad it was full of errors and lies, kinda like the anti-semetic properganda of the Nazis.
It seems Minnesota is doing fine without you.

It's a spectator sport for me, and I am especially knowledgeable about the CP having been a very active member. GE's not a member either, but he has much to contribute in handicapping and analysis. I'm not as emotionally involved as others and can look at things in a more clinical fashion.

I am just as interested in the LP nomination in Denver next month. Not being as intimately familiar w/ the LP as I was w/ the CP, I will have less to contribute but just as interested in the commentary from those closer to the LP.

I followed the GOP primaries for much the same reasons. Former active GOP member, and knew many of the guys running for Congress when they were College Republicans and state legislators.

Think of it this way, if you can, it is not entirely different from hearing a report from a recent HS class reunion. No way that I'd choose to attend. However, knowing the players involved, it is interesting to interject a comment or two from my own observations.

Millions of people will never play in the World Series, but they wouldn't miss watching on TV for anything.

It's too bad that ron Paul didn't win the CP nomination, but a Baldwin/Keyes ticket, or a Baldwin ticket and Keyes running as an independent, will fulfill God's will and help the Obama Revolution. I would have voted for Imperato if I were there, however. Congratulations again to Chuck Baldwin and the CP.

BTW, why be concerned about the CP Ben? I recalled you left the CP in a anti-Mormon temper tantrum yourself.

I must now ask the question, will the AIPCA place Baldwin on their ballot line or will they place Keyes instead. Shearer was notorious through out his career for threatening to withhold the AIPCA’s ballot access if he didn’t get his way. Will Noonan follow suit since his delegation voted for Keyes?

=Bill fought against religious tyranny in the CP, the kind that sought to kick out Mormon individuals and state parties and turn us into a Church. And FYI, Bill had nothing but good things to say about Chuck Baldwin, he and Chuck were friends. The AIP will have Baldwin on the ballot.

The party doesn't have one, though people went to Alan's site to watch, media savvy (In comparison with the party)??

I noticed Keyes took the live feed off of his website after his defeat.
Anyone know of an alternate feed to watch the VP vote?

Who the hell was that Imperato delegate?

I think Imperato himself is from Florida. For all we know, he voted for himself.

Keyes is so predictable.
Time for his whining and his followers the same.
His career is over. What will he do for cash now that he has no party to suck money out of?

Imperato hs NO money. His purported wealth comes from the Monopoly games he bought at garage sales. I can't believe any rational person would actually believe Imperato's delusions of grandeur.

Just an FYI, as soon as it was obvious that Keyes didn't win, his campaign shut off their live-feed camera and went home. No surprise from this quarter. Keyes is an egotistical opportunist. I have already been reading the cry-baby posts over at Keyes' site. I'd love to get a report about the whining and cry-babying from Keyes delegates. How many have already abandoned their delegate seats and gone home to their GOP?

Can the nominee, Baldwin in this case, decide himself on the VP candidacy, or is it
a party decision? They stopped with the feed on Keyes's website. Strange that the CP did not had any live feed on their own website. Dr. Baldwin is a good person, but perhaps not idea as a political candidate. The CP should have seen it it could attract someone well known from outside the CP that can agree with most of the CP principles perhaps? In any case, Imperato could be a big donor and financial support, also for congressional seats?

And now we will see the true commitment of Alan Keyes. Will he join the CP hand help promote the party or will he take his dozen or so supporters and bolt?

AMAZING - over at the Alan site they are bad mouthing the CP! These are the people who were pledging 100% support just two days ago. PROOF that they are hypocrites.
Look - Keyes supporters - your candidate has little support for a REASON. His views FAIL the test of more then 0.1% of the population.
Now Alan can try to get his first REAL job of his life.
Perhaps he needs to start being a REAL dad to his daughter. He'll certainly have the time. NO MORE EXCUSES
