Even if Bob Barr (or anyone else) gets the LP nomination, "they" will be saddled with the LP's platform on "open borders" and "legalizing drugs" which does NOT sit too well with the average man or woman voter on the street in America. But the CP's platform DOES represent the feelings of the average on the street voter. It is all about getting the CP message out to the mass voters. Ron Paul showed just how the internet can work for campaigns. Hopefully, it will rub off on the CP.
The CP welcomes debate from ALL political parties! We in the CP will match our platform against ANY other political party, major or third party.

John Lowell,

Barr is a member of the LP and has been for 2 years. Keyes NEVER was,and was open about the fact that he WOULD NOT JOIN OR STAY unless he recieved the nomination. Almost all of his followers felt similarly.

Rob,

Barr has yet to announce an out-and-out candidacy, continues to pussy-foot. At least Keyes wanted the CP nomination. Barr acts as though the Libertarian nod might laced with arsenic. At first I liked the idea of a Barr nomination, now so much so because of this tentativeness.

I think that Roberts should apologize to God for his remarks about God's messinger Barack H. Obama, yet I know that if Roberts does help Baldwin he will help bring Obama to power, unless the Bush/Nader/Clinton conspiracy denies Obama the Dem nomination.

Rob,

Im not sure what you're expecting at the LP convention---but its only going to be "a few hundred" too. On Saturday, there were just over 300 attendees at the convention. I suspect the LP will double that number.

Couldn't find the Baldwin related material at Taki's. Too many Francoists blocking the way.

True, the LP convention next month will look like a major party event compared to the few hundred people that gathered in Kansas City last weekend.

It will garner FAR more media attention, esp. if Barr can pull a win.
