Cindy Sheehan makes it official
From the San Francisco Chronicle:
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan wants to snatch House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s congressional seat from her in November, but first she’s going to need the help – and signatures – of 10,198 friends and supporters.Sheehan was at San Francisco City Hall on Friday to take out papers for her independent run for Congress, but without those signatures from voters in the district, her name won’t show up on the ballot.
“It’s an uphill battle,” said Sheehan, who vowed to run against Pelosi in July after the speaker refused to start impeachment proceedings against President George Bush. “But I’m excited about the signature-gathering process. It’s going to be an opportunity to talk to people about our campaign.”

how well will she probably do

It’s San Francisco, and Pelosi failed to unfund the war and took impeachment off the table. What do you think?

I believe there’s a Shirley Golub, who says “Impeach Both” “I’m on the Table”, lone Democrat challenger against Pelosi and primary’s in June. How do her chances look?

Not too good within the corrupt DP organization.

Maybe we can reeducate her in libertarian thought before she’s elected?

I sent her $25. Many small donations will make her campaign even more of a threat to Pelosi
April 28th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
Yes everyone donate what you can to her campaign! The fact that such a high profile peace activist is running against a Democrat is a victory against the two party system in it’s own right.

Hopefully she will come out against the fascist/stalinist criminal Ralph Nader and support the Fringe Alliance Strategy. I’m a staunch Democrat, but I support Sheehan because she is smart enough to understand that she needs to run in a district where a Republican can’t take too much advantage of divided left. I also agree with her more than Pelosi, as a strong socialist and antiwar person.a

LOL Catholic, Sheehan in in bed with Matt Gonzalez who is Mr. Nader’s VP candidate. Gonzalez has already voiced his support of her campaign and has been present at some of her fund raisers. I would imagine Sheehan would return this favor when Mr.Nader reaches Califorinia.

I hope Cindy won’t turn out to be an emotionally driven socialist.
