First of all, you spelled her name wrong. Second of all, it could have been under her husband’s name or she could have donated under the reporting threshold. A lot of people purposely donate under the reporting threshold because they don’t want their name to end up on the government list.

Mary Ruwart had a lot of involvement in the Ron Paul r3VOLution this past year. I’ve heard that she and her husband were involved in their local Ron Paul Meet Up Group and that they donated money to Ron’s campaign. Mary Ruwart was also listed on Ron Paul’s website as one of the well known people who endorsed him for President.

In addition to Mary Ruwart’s involvement in the Ron Paul r3VOLution, Ron endorsed Mary’s book and Ron also tried to get Mary Ruwart appointed as the head of the FDA.

Baldwin’s nomination closed the door on any Ron Paul endorsements, in my opinion. He will not endorse the LP candidate when Baldwin is on the CP line. And even if the LP nominates W.A.R. or Phillies, I can’t see Ron Paul endorsing Baldwin unless Baldwin goes the extra mile to downplay religion in his campaign. So far, Baldwin seems to be angling in this direction, but his party’s platform is so egregiously unlibertarian, it would be difficult for Paul to endorse its standardbearer.”

I think that there is a chance that Ron Paul could endorse Mary Ruwart or Steve Kubby or maybe even Bob Barr.
