Mini-Money bomb?
Chuck Baldwin’s grassroots supporters have set up a moneybomb for Memorial Day. Although I can think of better dates to hold the moneybomb on—it should be interesting to see if this garners any attention from the Ron Paul grassroots.

Andy,
I may have to donate to both.
Michael Cloud and Carla Howell have done good work up there.

Awesome! Every libertarian and fiscal conservative should get behind this effort.
If this thing passes it will be freakin’ HUGE and you’d best believe that it will lead to similiar efforts in other states.

I supported Michael Cloud and Carla Howell on their last initiative and it garnered 45% of the vote. I think this is a great idea and I hope it passes this time. http://pledge.april15moneybomb.com/

If Michael Cloud and Carla Howell are successful in Massachusetts, it will create a ripple effect across this land. No one can say it is a fringe movement that mainstream voters don’t want. They did get 45% despite every news report saying that it wouldn’t come close. Think of all the people who will seriously reconsider it this year, if they can only be reached with a positive message about it (as opposed to the usual pro-government rhetoric in the media).

This is a really bad idea. A lot of people get online at work, and few people will be working on Memorial Day. They’ll be spending time with their families. Not a good date selection, imo.

I’m very impressed by the professionalism of the Massachusetts group. I got a thank-you note and another follow-up from them. I’m going to have to donate again so that the mailings were not in vain.

All Baldwin supporters need to spread the word. Anyone busy vacationing can send it in early. I read somewhere they are trying to just help get the fundraising started with this one and shoot for large totals after things really get rolling. I think they are hoping for a $25 to 35 thousand total by Midnite. So, anything in advance will help reach the total goal.
If you are dedicated fully to Dr. Baldwin or would just like to help his campaign, a nice practice that Paul supporters used was donating an amount each payday. Whatever you can afford each payday will really help and it will add up over the next few months. From 5 bucks to $50, just whatever you can spare.
Dr.Baldwin isn’t advocating a theocracy. No matter how loudly someone attempts to spread this lie. It looks to me he is advocating Ron Paul’s platform ! The CP platform may offend some, but Dr. Baldwin hasn’t been running on the full CP platform, he’s running a RP platform.

Gravel’s supporters (myself included) have organized quite a few mini money bombs over the past few months. The only amount raised I know is that Gravel raised over $30,000 on December 5th (rest assured, that was before I was involved with the campaign…).
We’ve also got www.50-20.us, a website set up to motivate people to donate. I think that’s raised about $1500-$2000 or so, so far. Not much, but everything counts. It’s been up for a month or two, and it’s completely run by one supporter. (by the way, my video on that website is the one by “PhillyforGravel”)

Just to clarify – I don’t work for Gravel. I just do grassroots/ online work for his campaign, but I’m not “officially” connected to the campaign in any way.

I was a RP supporter…..and I’m inclined to support Chuck Baldwin in the fall. He’s a good guy…. a better person than Barr….as has wisely and with decency broadened a call to all freedom loving Americans. I wish him well and am likely to pull the level for him in the fall.

There’s an effort to repeal the income tax in MA? If that’s true I’m on board!

If it’s “mini” is it really a “bomb”?

Maybe ‘money grenade’ or ‘money firecracker’ or ‘money IED’.
