I may not like everything he say's...but he did fight for the right to say it !!!! It's refreshing to see someone in the arena who will not owe anyone favors..who is willing to say what he thinks...right or wrong...and tell it like it is...he did it when he was gov. and I'm sure he would do it again...people might not like it but you have to admire his courage to stand up for what he thinks.
Could make for an interesting election once again !!!

Hopefully Ventura can join the senate race as LP candidate. I do not like his criticism of organized religion though. He could well be able to get the LP its first senate seat. I heard Al Franken has some issues with 70 000 in taxes he was supposed to pay or something like that...so the Demos are not too happy and enthused with him. This is a perfect scenario. Ventura has beaten the GOP incumbant for the governorship and Al Franken would be quite weakened, so a substantial amount of Democrats may choose to vote for Ventura instead of Franken, plus all the Independents for Ventura and disaffected Republicans and the Libertarians and Greens of course. The Ron Paul meetup groups there may also vote for him and organize fundraising. Perfect storm for Ventura!

An idiot like Ventura who responds to every challenge with “were you a Navy Seal” is a conspiracy nut. Whatever valid points he may have go out the window when he can’t discuss an issue with intelligence.

I have seen him discuss the issue on multiple occasions and have never heard this Navy Seal response. Besides, you are using a red herring - which isn't "intelligent".

Good, then you agree that: Unless you think that no two or more people have ever planned anything, then you are [a conspiracy nut] as well.

Again, I have already explained the difference. Just because you believe in a conspiracy does not make you a conspiracy nut.

What makes you think the “conspiracy nuts” have not done the same thing?

I have already told you the difference between a conspiracy nut and someone who can discuss the issue with intelligence. The people who watch and worship Loose Change are the conspiracy nuts.

You don’t seem to understand the meaning of the word “conspiracy”.

No, I'm pretty sure I understand it.

No, I don’t. I examine opinions of both sides. That leads me to the conclusions I have.

What makes you think the "conspiracy nuts" have not done the same thing?

No, there is a big difference between conspiracy nut, and someone who uses intelligence to question a situation.

You don't seem to understand the meaning of the word "conspiracy".

Is Dr. Steven Jones, formerly of BYU also a “complete conspiracy nut?.”

You mean the same Dr. Jones who claims to have discovered ancient Mayan archaeological evidence that Jesus visited America?

The same Dr. Jones who's claim to fame at BYU was his work on cold fusion?

The same Dr. Jones who's WTC collapse theories were dismissed by the structural and fire safety engineering faculty at his own university?

The same Dr. Jones that refuses to even CITE the hundreds of pages of peer-reviewed literature in established journals concerning the collapse?

If you mean that Dr. Jones, then yes. He's a nut.

He can carry the Libertarian banner in what would become one of the highest profile Senate races of the year!

Ok. Where are the “facts” to support that? This man was elected. Served. Did some good. Asks for new investigations.

I’ve not read his latest book, so I’m truly asking here.

Is Dr. Steven Jones, formerly of BYU also a “complete conspiracy nut?.” Is Dr. Ed Mitchell?

I don't know who Dr. Steven Jones is, but I have a feeling he doesn't respond to every challenge with "were you a Navy Seal?" That is my problem with Ventura. Rather than respond with intelligence, that is the answer he gives.

I have an overall problem with conspiracy nuts to begin with. They continually disregard facts that don't fit their agenda (like the 10 times the idiots who created Loose Change have changed their arguments).

I have no problem with people who can honestly question the accounts. None whatsoever. It should be done. I can't stand people who don't listen to the opinion of others.
