While I do deeply appreciate the effort, the event is co-sponsored by the SC Green Party, but we neither initiated the event, nor are we leading it in any meaningful way. In fact, I only (sadly) know of two Greens who have committed to attend, and I am not one of them. I was going, but life got in the way.
The protest site is WeObject.info and a full list of co-sponsors includes, the Greenville Anti-War Society, South Carolina Progressive Network, Carolina Peace Resource Center, Aiken Peace, Code Pink, Operation Democracy, No More Victims, Veterans for Peace and The Freedom Group.
If you’re in the Upstate of South Carolina, the far western part of North Carolina, or the far north east of GA, get yer protestin’ shoes on and get to marchin’...of course, only if you oppose the war…

Oops…guess I forgot to close the tag. We Objectis over here.
Maybe a “preview” button would be appropriate?

Austin Cassidy no longer writes for this site, but for another that cannot be named without triggering TPW’s filters. The report in question here was not written by Cassidy at all, but by Peter Orvetti. Austin’s attempts to set the record straight have not made it through HIS FORMER SITE’S filters.

Why don’t they link to their sources here? They’ve been citing news from Green Party Watch (www.greenpartywatch.com) and the new Cassidy site but they never link to the source. It’s really poor etiquette. We always link to the source of our info at green party watch, and in fact when I was a contributor on this site I always linked to my sources as well.
I wonder how much longer Google News will continue to index this site at this rate.
