Former U.S. Senator Dean Barkley invited to Green Party convention

A Green Party source reports that former U.S. Senator Dean Barkley has been invited to the Green Party Presidential nominating convention in Chicago July 10-13.

Senator Barkley was appointed to the U.S. Senate by Governor Jesse Ventura to complete the term of Paul Wellstone, who died in a plane crash.

No word yet on whether Senator Barkley will attend.
