“Not one more cent for war!” John Olmsted, school teacher, Oregon Green Party candidate for congress

John Olmsted has taught in Portland, Oregon public schools, Portland community college, and at Portland state university for 20 years.
Mr. Olmsted is the Oregon Green Party’s candidate for congress in the 3rd district.
The Green Party candidate calls for bringing , “..all U.S. Troops home now – not one more cent for war.”

    What War is this guy referring too? We’ve finally defeated Al Qaeda in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both Wars are essentially over.

    Does he want to reverse course, and tell Al Qaeda that they have actually won? Maybe he wants to even give Al Qaeda foreign aid, to apologize to them for their defeat?

    Eric Dondero, I don’t believe that the Iraq and Afghanistan are essentially over, but I hope they are essentially over. If they are not essentially over, then they need to be ended extremely quickly. I would like to see Green Party candidates elected to many positions in the US House, US Senate, Oregon House, and Oregon House! I wish Steve Novick (instead of Merkely) had won the Democratic Party nomination of the US Senate position from Oregon.
