This seems to be the political season the Freedom Movement grows up! Bob Barr, Mike Gravel, and Disinter have all shown tremendous growth during this election cycle and all should be commended.

Now, can we all work together to make a big electoral dent in the body politic?

citizen1 – barr gave a longer answer in the bloomberg interview you should check out. were YOU following the PATRIOT Act fight at the time? How active were you in the fight? Barr’s role was rather well-reported if you were paying attention

Bob Barr was asked about voting for voting for the Patriot Act on a Comedy Central show. He defended it by saying he did not think that it would be missused but that it has been. In other words it is OK to violate the constitutional rights of some peopl but not others.
