The majors sure appreciate you NEGATIVE Neds! Cynthia McKinney could certainly receive more votes than the GP current record total, if she but can get her message out. The Ds and Rs have the two WORSE candidates in our lifetimes! You disagree? Name two WORSE!

I like Mckinney as a congresswoman or mayor. However, i wouldn't consider voting or donating money for her in a statewide or presidential election.
Although much of what she says is on point, her in your face style is too polarizing.

If Mckinney gets the nomination, she won't get any more news coverage, or generate any more contributions, than she has thus far. I live in her home state and i don't know of a single person who knows she's running for president.

The Green Party is broke and probably won't attain ballot status in 30 states; and things won't change with Mckinney's nomination.

I visit the GP website occasionally. To have a presidential ballot access fund drive on the home page with only a $10, 000 goal is pathetic and shows just how far the party has fallen; and the $$$$ meter has been at 5k for more than a month.

As a serious third party voter, the GP is no longer a viable option.

Honestly, the Green Party needs to wake-up and throw their support behind the Nader/Gonzalez '08 ticket. It'll secure 22 ballots already for Nader and he can focus his campaign money on other ballot access. Cynthia McKinney for the good of the party should step aside and wait for 2012. Ralph Nader is already earn tons of support, the Green Party should nominate him for the presidency. If they don't then Cynthia McKinney should pick Rich Whitney as her running mate. I still don't think the GP will get more than 300,000 votes this election. Which is why they need to nominate the Nader/Gonzalez '08 ticket.

Not sure, but I’ll be covering it for 1ndependentpol1t1calreport.com (URL blocked here, replace 1s with i). I may or may not have internet while I’m there, so those who have my number can call me with any questions I should ask.

I’m taking a greyhound bus from bham al this afternoon, so I won’t have internet in a couple of hours.

I would hope they also do a lot of work on ballot access, because they can nominate anyone they like, but if their not on many state ballots, what's the point?

I'm also interested in how the economy is effecting the ability of the delegates to attend the convention? Will they manage a quorum? I would imagine that in the time between the LP and the GP conventions things have gotten tougher for people?
