					<description>It never ceases to amaze me how 'separation of church and state' is misunderstood. It is not in the Constitution, and Jefferson was not saying that religion and politics had to be separate. It is simply meaning that there was to be no State Church, such as the Church of England.
  Actually, those that mis-quote the phrase probably know exactly what was meant, but figure if they misuse it often enough, others will believe it. A good example of this is anti-gunners. They know exactly what the 2nd Amendment really means, but keep saying their crap, hoping to influence those ignorant of the subject, and hoping a judge, treaty, etc. goes along with it.</description>

					<description>Mr. Marzullo; I take it you didn't read the NYT article? had you, you would have read that this was not some alice in wonderland libertarian capitalist fantasy land; this was real world capitalism. Which is in no way abt equal exchange of labor for money. Especially when the workers are illegal. The illegal workers prepare your food and do the most horrendous jobs around, I don't see many Know Nothing jingoists seeking out slaughter house floor work for minimum wage, or less, with no occupational safety in place. I'm sure this abattoir is seeking new workers, if you are so gung-ho abt making sure WASPS have these jobs.</description>

The Founders were not talking about Buddists, Hindus, Muslims, Satanists, Druids, or any other religion than CHRISTIANITY.  It is unbelievable how stupid the anti-God nitwits will be in their screeching against Christianity.</description>
