Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader has submitted petitions to qualify for the Tennessee ballot.
The Tennessean reports:
The Nader campaign submitted 584 signatures; the candidate needs 275 verified signatures to secure a spot. To make his spot official, election officials will send the petitions to be certified in counties where they were collected.

Here is a video of Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr scolding Congress for passing FISA, at hearings of the House Judiciary Committee where he testified on impeachment. Passing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) gave the Executive Branch a free pass on illegal activity, he says.

Port Huron City Councilman Mark Byrne is chairman of the Libertarian Party’s effort in St. Clair and Sanilac counties. He says he expects a good year for Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr.
