Here is a newsflash: Ron Paul is supporting all Third Party candidates.

Bob Barr was awesome tonight on Lou Dobbs. You could tell Lou was happy to have him and enjoyed him more than when Lou had Nader in the previous segment

Thanks Nancy! It gets disheartening seeing all the ridiculous infighting on this site when for all intents and purposes, we are all fighting for the same things in most of these third party candidates.

ALL want an end to war.
ALL want better more efficient government.
ALL want a better quality of life for our families.
ALL want more choices in our elections and to have more of a say in how our government governs.

It’s important to remember that even if Nader were elected, he would be able to institute his social programs without even making us dig deeper into our pockets – in fact, even less so. Think about it all the things your taxes go to right now: billions to other countries, major corporations, bank bailouts, etc. etc. We are paying nearly as much as the Europeans, and get hardly a damn thing back.

Larry and Craig have made the most reasonable statements on this board so far. For those of you that continue to bad-mouth and trivialize the other third party candidates, you are only shooting yourselves in the foot. We need better choices in government. Slamming third party and independent candidates rather than going after the truly horrendous major party candidates shows a lack of judgment on your parts.

It doesn’t matter if you agree with Nader/McKinney or Barr/Baldwin/Paul philosophies or not. They all need our support. Save your attacks for the two major parties.

I don’t care if “global warming” is proven or not. It’s a simple fact that we are running out of oil. There is a limited supply and the US only has 3% of that supply when we use 25% of it. And, even if global warming hasn’t been proven, you have two choices: global warming is true, global warming is false.

If global warming is true and we start taking steps to reverse the consequences of our pollution and use of resources, then we might be able to return the planet to a more balanced state.

If global warming is false and we still invest resources into alternative energy and getting off of oil, then we are still creating new industries here at home, new jobs, more efficient energy and more environmentally friendly energy. Even if global warming is false, it’s pretty obvious that we have more pollution and toxins in our environment than ever before, more people are getting sick and dying of cancers than ever before.

So, either way, addressing alternative energy is good for us in the long run. There’s no downside to pursuing it.

As for the socialist comments… I say, who cares. I have nothing against socialism. It works great in Europe and I’d argue their quality of life far surpasses ours here in the states. No one in Europe will ever go bankrupt from a health crisis. In several European countries (like Denmark), education is available for everyone through college at no cost. What’s more important to you—adhering to an ideology or quality of life and humanity?

It will be expensive and slow at the beginning, but worthwhile in 6-7 years, but here is my two cents of advice: The Green Party, the Libertarian Party, the Constitution Party, and any other parties need to dump nationally-sized contributions into local elections; pick a state or two and invest what you normally would into a presidential or senatorial campaign and use it to win candidates to the state houses and state senates. These people can in turn change ballot access requirements and balance state budgets. The parties will then engender the trust of the people to vote for their candidates for the US House and Senate.

RON PAUL and RALPH NADER were on the “SITUATION ROOM” segment, with Wolf Blizter (CNN) after the press conference. I want to thank Mr. Nader for mentioning all the other third party candidates names and their party affiliations, mostly my guy…Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution party. They touched on the phoney government controlled “Presidential Debate Commission” that denies the other alternative party presidential candidates participation in these debates. BRAVO! Maybe the viewers watching this show will finally CONNECT THE DOTS!

I am disappointed in Barr. He should have been there for despite not being as good as McKinney and Baldwin, they needed all the help they can get to offset the influence of Satan’s whore, Ralph Nader. This would have also cemented the Fringe Alliance Strategy, for my strategy is finally being listened to.
