Oh, I see. Peroutka is bad, because John Lofton uses inflammatory rhetoric. Guilt by association. I suppose then that we can judge all Mormons by the hot-headed Christopher Hansen, and the crazy Edward C. Noonan. LOL!

Actually I think Ron took a closer look at Peroutka’s website (The American View), and saw the rhetoric of John Lofton, plus the bashing of women in politics and mormons, and realized his political future would be in jeopardy if he associated with a man like this.

BTW, Baldwin didn’t throw a fit at not being off the Montana ballot. Rather he probably was banging his head against the wall for trusting the Montana CP since they promised to put Baldwin on the ballot previously.

Good move Mr. Paul!

Barr made a DEMEANING offer to Paul to be his VP…? I honestly don’t know how you came to that conclusion.

Bob Barr repeatedly asked Ron Paul to seek the presidential nomination of the LP and only ran himself after it was very, very clear that Ron Paul’s Republican run was not going to be successful. Later Barr and Root extended the offer to be VP, NOT as a slap in the face, but because ballot substitutions of VP nominees are usually allowed but NOT substitutions of the presidential candidate.

Why are so many of you so eager to be offended…?

Very honorable Dr. Paul. I see what you are trying to accomplish. You know your supporters will still vote for you if you are on the ballot. But what you want is a strong statement against the party duopoly in charge. Very well done Dr. Paul

What a load of rubbish, Cody. Paul is not running for President. His friend, Chuck Baldwin, is. So Paul is acting with honor and integrity.

By contrast, with his ridiculous and demeaning offer of VP to Ron Paul, Bob Barr is acting like a dictator who has contempt for his party, its convention and its rules. FUBARR!

What info Cody? I see some potential issues on Michael Peroutka’s wikipedia. He disaffiliated the MD CP from the national CP and the Montana CP also disaffiliated
from the national CP recently. Maybe it could also have something to do with the Barr campaign not happy that he is also on the ballot in a state where Paul has performed well and of great potential to the LP and Paul did not want to stay in the way? (BTW: The LP can be glad Paul-Goldwater are on the ballot in LA as the LP may possibly not be on the ballot in LA).
