Third Party Watch

There are still ongoing rumors and speculation that California’s American Independent Party may not be united with the rest of the Constitution Party’s decision about their presidential nominee.

Ballot Access News just reported:

Ron Paul finished third in the Indiana and North Carolina primaries tonight, but it looks like those showings of 8% and 7% respectively will be enough to push him past the one million vote mark.

As of this moment, Paul has added 60,757 votes to his total… with 15% of the votes still to be counted [...]

Here are some sporadic last thoughts on the Constitution Party’s convention in Kansas City.

I’m here covering the event for the Kansas City Metro Voice, for Third Party Watch and for my online TV show, “Missouri Viewpoints”.

My best guess is that Keyes will not win the Constitution Party presidential nomination because of his foreign policy position, but his speech at the Constitution Party Convention was delivered so well, I’m sure he’ll pick up some extra support because of it. Audio link here.
