Readers will recall that LNC Treasurer Bill Redpath agreed to co-sponsor a motion from Caryn Harlos related to her motion to rescind the Joint Fundraising Committee.
The Chair ruled that Redpath’s action was out of order. Dustin Nanna urged postponing action to the next LNC meeting.
Angela McArdle LNC Chair wrote:
Dustin,
I already ruled this out of order. Bill posted a very late reply without any context.
Why is a minority trying to move the same dilatory motion again, knowing it is going to fail? We just had a weekend long training about productivity and duty of care. The board needs to accept the decisions of the majority and move forward in support. That is your job.
Bill, you are our treasurer and instead of being on top of the finances and helping me, you are totally checked out, only paying attention to ballot access and working against my financial plan. You did not even have a treasurer’s report for our first meeting. It’s insane that I can’t get you to perform your actual duties and on top of that you are co-sponsoring dilatory motions. You campaigned for and were elected as treasurer. Please get your head in the game.
Every time you are tempted to waste time on dilatory motions, please pick up the phone and make a fundraising call or phone bank for a candidate.
Harlos responded:
Chair Ms. McArdle. Members are allowed to appeal. Mr Redpath sponsored my appeal. Are you disallowing an appeal? It is as not a late (not defined or disallowed) sponsor to original motion but to the appeal. Are you even disallowing an appeal?
Just recruited a candidate by the way and fundraised. Are you disallowing an appeal? Mr. Redpath sponsored my appeal. This is a BOARD we are allowed to make motions.
I would recommend that the chair of the party formerly of principles read the minutes of the recent convention she chaired. She might then take note of the fact that the majority chose a candidate for president and vice president.
If she really believes that the minority should accept what the majority chose to do and support it, then her actions over the past several months in attempting to subvert what the party she was elected to lead wants to do, then she should resign in disgrace.
She is doing a better job of playing Trump than he does. She lies, then she lies about lying, then she lies about the lie about the lie – all while attempting to accuse others that they are the ones making the mistakes.
Does she really expect to make it to the next convention as chair? Or has her plan always been to steal as much money as possible and cause the party to fail so there is no convention to vote her out?
Bill Redpath is not responsible for what she has done to their party. To even suggest he is shows just how unethical and dishonest she is.
Every single contributor to that party at every single level should be in a joint class action against her.
I don’t remember making any hard money contributions to the building fund, or I would start the class action myself and trust me she would not win. All my contributions were in time and effort to help figure out the best plan forward.
The libertarian party is already splintering. They might be able to save themselves if she is removed immediately and sued into oblivion personally for the money that she has either wasted or stolen. Unfortunately, I don’t think they have the guts to do it.

All of a sudden, Helmsmen Angela cares about actual party candidates? Or, is this just a plea for RFK Jr support?
