Vest and Harlos Derivative Suits Request Merger

The plaintiffs in the derivative suits of Beth Vest and Caryn Ann Harlos to remove Angela McArdle as Libertarian Party National Chair have separately filed the court asking that the two suits be merged for trial.  Merger is a fairly routine step in this sort of situation.

The LNC request that the Vest suit be dismissed has already been rejected by the courts.

Of course, the big question is when this would ever go to trial. The civil courts move extremely slowly at times. And of course, the only people who actually profit from this are the attorneys on both sides.

I am certainly not saying that attorney should not get paid for what they do, but this whole thing seems to me to be stupid. With everything else the bylaws cover, why isn’t there some way for the membership to recall visibly corrupt LNC members without waiting for the next convention?

      Unfortunately, no, there isn’t.

It makes it much easier for us supporters to donate to a united front.

Don’t they already have the same attorneys representing them? If so, then this is a no-brainer. And it would actually be less expensive for the LNC to defend, since they are likely to lose both cases, and this would probably be less cost to the membership who are donating money to pay for the Cabal‘s antics.
