LNC Continues to Sink

Analyzing the November LNC Financial Report: Membership is lower than in any other month since December 2022.  Membership is lower than in any end-of-year report since 2006, inclusive.

Membership revenue for the year will probably (the few final days are missing from the count) be under one million dollars.

Over the course of this year, credit card debt has increased from $1,242 to $90,630, an increase of nearly 75-fold.  The claimed cash reserve adequacy, taking into account all the debts and other matters, is claimed to be $96,278.

Having influence in DC has little or nothing to do with whether or not the party has an office in the DC metro area.

Things have been looking up – improving – massive amounts of support & donations – since June 2022!

Obviously anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional & can’t read financial reports & membership reports which show all the successes.

The LP has NEVER been had this level of influence. I mean what other Chair has had lunch with the one of the opposing parties presidential candidates?

The LP has never been this much in lined with the “new “Right Wing” movement that is taking over the country.

The LP is now an influencer in DC – never has it had this much power (never mind that they closed their DC based HQ).

You all just do not get the genius of AM & the MC. They have “saved the Party” from the woke leftists. & classical liberals / libertarians who actually had principles.

After all what former Chair made $700K plus via self dealing? None. See they could not be paid because the LP was worthless. A certain former chair wanted only $70K – he just did not think big enough nor have the vision.

Just stop with all this LP bashing & admit the LP has never ever been better or more successful.

Thank goodness for the MC & AM!

I wonder if Chase Oliver has given any interviews about his shabby treatment by National and the Mises-controlled state parties which refused to have anything to do with him after the convention. Not only wasn’t he given any support by National, many of the National figures openly opposed him. Is it any wonder national membership numbers are cratering? If I’d been Chase, I wouldn’t have lifted a finger to help National. We had an exciting new candidate, and the party infrastructure totally blew it.

The LNC will probably continue paying bills on credit and pay themselves with the cash on hand.

But, according the the Independent Political Report:

The Libertarian Party will host an inauguration day party in Washington, D.C., next month to celebrate what it calls the coming “libertarian phase.” Angela McArdle, Chair of the Libertarian National Committee, announced the event when she published a registration page on X last week.

“Join us for a historic evening as we celebrate the dawn of a new era for liberty in Washington, D.C. The Libertarian Party’s Liberty Launch Party marks the start of the Libertarian wave in the Federal Government, and you’re invited to be part of the celebration!” reads the registration page shared by McArdle.

So, things are looking up, according to the “big picture” folks that are running the party.

Yessir! Things are really looking up! I just can’t wait until our libertarian guy is sworn in as HHS secretary! (‘Scuse me while I puke!)

Angela is childishly naïve, laughably so.
Donald Trump is an authoritarian, not a libertarian.

Trump is on video claiming he wants “to take the guns first, give due process second”. Before Biden’s presidency, Trump printed more money in 4 years than any other president has in 8 years. He panders to his religious base regarding abortion, pornography, sex work, gay marriage and drug legalization. None of which the government should be involved in.

IMO, Trump is not a conscious authoritarian. Rather, he is an extreme narcissist who takes every rejection personality, and organizes his affairs to “get” his opponents whenever he can.
