Editors:

Have you looked @ lp.org recently? I looked at it yesterday, and it included a repost of a column by Ron Paul on the Italian elections, which seemed to welcome the victory of the nationalist coalition headed by the woman who has not hesitated to praise Mussolini.

It also reposts a column by someone else celebrating the 11 Republicans in Congress who voted against aid for Ukraine – with the message that the Republican Party is returning to its antiwar roots.

Not sure I want to publicize by opposing it, but it is not the only problem.

Look at the Reason post on the Arizona Senate race, featuring heroic attorney Marc Victor https://reason.com/2022/10/14/in-arizona-libertarian-party-senate-candidate-polls-at-15-percent/

Note this from the Reason post:

Victor complained that “our big problem with voting is that everything is up for a vote” and pointed to age of consent laws along with legislative representation as examples of the few issues that should be subject to political decision making. In response, Dave Smith, widely considered a contender for the 2024 Libertarian Party presidential nomination as part of the now-dominant Mises Caucus, endorsed one of Marc Victor’s opponents.

“JFC,” tweeted Smith. “This guy is a clown who has absolutely nothing to do with us. He went outside the party and got the signatures to be on the ballot. Stupid AZ laws. I support Masters.”

The good news is that Marc Victor is on our side against the “Mises” Caucus.

Just thought you might want to know, if you don’t already.

Also notable about LP.org is the unseen: any news articles promoting Libertarian candidates.

However, the @LPNational twitter site today includes several favorable mentions of some of our candidates in different states. Of course, it also seems to include mentions of the Ron Paul Institute.

I read both articles. Very sad turn of events to say the least.
