On examination of the FEC filings for the Libertarian Party of California, as previously reported by Jake Porter based on work of former LNC Treasurer Todd Hagopian, we find that the LPCA failed to make mandatory FEC filings for the Third Quarter Report and for the post-General-Election filing.
In addition, their end of June filing revealed $5619 cash on hand with no income at all for the first half of the year. We are discussing the largest State Affiliate in the Libertarian Party, not to mention being the party affiliate in the most populous state of the Union. As a former State Treasurer and State Chair, if this were my state I would find a lack of Federal income for the first half of the election year to be highly alarming.
Anything they received from the JFC would need to be reported as federal receipts. Of course they would still need to file even if they had zero revenue to report.
LPCA in its state filings had 95.7k$ as of Oct 19th. The LPCA has not filed a report since October. The treasurers bio found on the web site might be a clue.

A rational first guess would be that a number of the donors that used to contribute to the state affiliate are not members of the caucus currently in charge of the entire organization and are not in favor of its actions.
They say money talks. It can also be withheld and produce a rather ominous silence.
