Nekhaila on Why He Should Be the Next LP Chair

(Statement supplied by the candidate):

Steven Nekhaila is a businessman from Key West and a life-long Libertarian. He operates twelve businesses in the hospitality and restaurant industry, including the Wendy’s across three states, Dairy Queen in Tavernier, Island Grill in Islamorada, and Movie Theater in Tavernier employing over 250 employees.

He is a founder of the LP Florida Keys affiliate, a Florida Executive Committee member from 2015 to 2023, where he served as Regional Representative, Treasurer, and a two term Chair. On the LNC he has served since 2016, as Regional Representative and currently At-Large.

Over the course of many years of experience within the Party, serving under and over many different boards, combined with his for-profit and non-profit experience, he has made the decision to throw his hat in the ring for Chairman of the LNC.

Nekhaila wants to return the board back to its fundamentals, in order to excel in fundraising, ballot access, affiliate support, and candidate support. With management and administrative expertise he hopes to expand staff, including a sizable fundraising department and executive director. He wants to be bold and libertarian on messaging, with the goal of explaining our shared philosophy inside current events and in a way to create our own narrative. With a fully staffed LNC and a singleminded and unified board, we can support candidates and affiliates efficiently and effectively.

Steven Nekhaila’s experience not only within the Party but outside of it combines the skills and understanding necessary to lead the LNC with a results oriented mindset.

I was not eligible to vote for him, but I would have.

To the extent that we have a “deep bench”, Steve is it, for sure. His real-world experience gives him real “gravitas” IMHO.

    Next time, Bro.
