D’Orazio Launches New Appeal Against Joint Fundraiser

Tony D’Orazio has launched a new appeal to the Judicial Committee against the Joint Fundraising Agreement. The appeal is based on a new issue, namely that the agreement is now being used as part of an explicit endorsement of a major party candidate, Donald Trump, in violation of Party Bylaws, Article 14. You can sign the appeal at https://form.jotform.com/242515938264159

We have good reason to believe that the appeal is close to having enough signatures. If you were a National Convention delegate or are a National party Sustaining member, you can sign.

The explicit endorsement is from Robert F Kennedy, the major partner in the agreement, who as seen at https://emailsnest.com/brands/robert-f-kennedy-jr/who-bobby-wants-you-to-vote-for-623130# writes

“No matter what state you live in, I urge you to vote for Donald Trump.”

That’s the most explicit possible endorsement of Trump. The donation pages, if followed, read
https://kennedyvictoryfund.com/

“We’re thrilled to announce an unprecedented partnership with the Libertarian National Committee (LNC), revolutionizing the way you can support our campaign. This collaboration allows us to raise money on the same playing field that major establishment candidates have always enjoyed. The donation ceiling has increased significantly, with individuals now able to contribute more than ever before through joint fundraising efforts.

By joining forces with the LNC, we have significantly raised the threshold per individual by an additional $121,300.”

I am guessing that you are qiute disapointed in what the Mises Caucus has accomplished since taking charge of the LNC. As I recall you favored the “takeover” initially but it sure turned out NOT to be the second coming of the Ron Paul Revolution.

The Libertarian Party has been a disappointment long before the Mises Caucus came along.

It should be pointed out that having a Joint Fundraising Committee with RFK Jr., which may be helping Trump now, has absolutely nothing to do with the stated principles or goals or strategy of the Mises Caucus. The Mises Caucus board and membership never voted on this. Neither RFK Jr. or Donald Trump fit the mold of a Mises Institute libertarian.

Also, while the LNC is not bringing in new members now, neither is the Chase Oliver campaign.

This is the first presidential year in LP history where dues paying membership have gone down instead of up.

Of course, you have to believe that the stated goals of the Mises group are their actual goals, a belief that is in dispute.

Excellent point on party membership. The Oliver campaign is there to campaign for Oliver. The National Party is there to recruit members, except that they are not.

Oh bull. The Meeses leadership sent out an email supporting it. You want a copy? They had their minions spam the JC.
