Mises Caucus Organization, Part 3 of Several

One of the disaffected members of the Mises Caucus supplies us this information — the file appeared here fresh today, but I do not know the date of the actual document — about Mises Caucus organization. The document follows our previous publication on this matter:

Teams

Formed to carry out specific tasks that require specialized skills or knowledge
within a given division, i.e. social media teams, the Facebook group moderators,
state or numerated regional teams, etc.

Except for the Regional and State Teams, all other Teams are national in their
scope, similar to the ExCom, and act in support of the ExCom and its efforts. The
teams that currently exist may be changed, added to or expanded upon as the
needs of the caucus grow and change over time.

Examples of Organizing Teams

Regional Teams – The state affiliates of the Libertarian Party are grouped into
regions numbered 1 to 8. The Regional Division, with Regional Teams under it,
helps the National Coordinator to support, train, organize, and quality control the
State Teams. A single Regional Team is composed of two people from a specific
numbered region that helps divide the labor of organizing our 250+ state
organizers and works closely with them. The Regional Teams add up to 16 total
members in the Regional Division. In this manner, information used in caucus
decision-making is gathered from the members, up through the State Teams and
regional organizers where it is then disseminated by the Regional Division and
ExCom.

State Teams – The leaders who carry out the LPMC mission in detail on the state
level. They onboard, train, support, mobilize, and maintain their LPMC Members
within their state. The State Teams are essentially the ExCom in miniature, within
the confines of their state. This is where decentralization comes into play. The
Libertarian Party National Convention is not under their authority, and State
Teams do not have the authority to endorse LNC and JC candidates, Presidential
candidates, or Vice Presidential candidates. They do, however, endorse and
organize around various candidates within the confines of their own state, from
political office seeker to party officer.

State Teams are the most numerous, populous and broad of all the teams and
are the lifeblood of the entire organization. As such, they have the most duties
and responsibilities placed on their shoulders.
