She needs signatures on Jotform: https://form.jotform.com/243646962121154. One appeal deals with the process for removing an officer from office. The other appeal deals with the LNC decision to conduct in secret all actions other than final votes.
The appeals read:
I join in the appeals of the below items which I consent to have the following appeals prepared by Brittany Kosin, Mimi Robson, or by someone else chosen by Petition organizers on behalf of the signatories:
-
APPEAL ONE
1. The LNC email motion to amend the Policy Manual regarding Removal from Office. The email ballot can found here: https://groups.google.com/g/lnc-public/c/nY7MEZVPaz4/m/Xj8Ra8aeBgAJ. This motion is in violation of the Bylaws in, at a minimum, the following areas:
- Requires disciplinary trials to be in secret.
- Illegitimately shortens notice requirements from thirty days to fourteen days.
- Claims an ability to appoint a trial manager for the Party, not merely the LNC.
- Lacks clarity, or illegitimately claims, to be able to suspend membership rights in the Party.
APPEAL TWO
2. The overt and/or constructive decisions of the LNC that:
- Deleted, or rendered otherwise inaccessible, the past LNC business list.
- Moved all business and actions of the LNC with the exception of the announcement of an email ballot and its results behind a wall of secrecy.
These actions were put into effect as a result of the following Policy Manual amendments found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/180BYWUfauzh_fIX1ADNEL5R6ULM-HU6p/edit?gid=884511494#gid=884511494
These appeals are based upon the above decisions being violative of multiple Bylaws including, but not limited to, Articles 7:14, 7.15, and 16.
For both appeals, additional Bylaws violations may be included in the Petition(s) and subsequent filing(s). My consent will remain valid even if some of the violations are purportedly cured after the solicitation for signatories to this appeal and extends to problems with any alleged cure or proceeds on remaining violations if purported cure is satisfactory to the Petition organizers. I understand that the appeals may be argued by other than the primary appellant as agreed upon by the primary appellant.
Funny how she objected to the removal of the trial requirement and opposed the reinstatement of the trial requirement.
Thank you George. Just to clarify, I am one of a group of organizers, and the appeals will belong to whomever are primary appellants which right now is planned to be Brittany Kosin and Mimi Robson. There is a group of us working on these.
George, FYI, we exceeded both thresholds in less than 48 hours but are still taking signatories.
