If I still had a vote on the LNC, I believe I’d vote to make Mr. Redpath as Chair. He has the experience, the in depth knowledge, the deep loyalty to the LP, and the financial acumen to figure out how (or if) the LP can be stabilized and put on the right track to future success (however the members wish to define it.)
I would purchase a membership and begin donating again with Mr Redpath at the helm.
Redpath is a saint and the most qualified, by far, out of anyone currently on the board.
So who ruled it invalid? Who is acting chair? And who moved the meeting?
Or is she still chair?
Several people have sent me email suggesting that the LNC could make money by turning this into a reality TV show or a movie.
Thats not a bad idea, it would make more the the JFC, only I have a feeling Angela left the country. Now I have 0 ecidence for this belief, but my gut is telling me if shes not OCONUS now she will be in very short order.

All kidding aside, I had a serious question. With all the questions of how the LNC operates internally, who assumed the authority to reschedule the meeting?
Someone had to have made the decision to reschedule the meeting because a Zoom link, which could easily have been created by anyone in a few seconds, was not sent. I have been on literally countless zoom meetings where the link was not sent until minutes before the meeting. But I knew the meeting was taking place and I was ready. The former chair set a time and place, that being Zoom, for the meeting. The lack of a link did not invalidate that by any rational standards.
Who is in charge?
The meeting for 2/2 had been previously called. Members may give notice of items to be brought up.
The 1/26 meeting was not canceled or rescheduled.
