We are advised by Caryn Ann Harlos: “…Adrian is blocking Life members who have not been abusive and can have legitimate requests.” Her comments apparently went to the entire LNC.
Harlos supplied a response said to be from Adrian Malagon, the response asserting “Attached are the lists of people I’ve blocked on both LP emails to help me cut back on the drinking. It kind of defeats the though purpose if LNC members reply. As such, I kindly request you not.”
The response included a list of email addresses of people who had assertedly been blocked. As she requested, we did not publish the list, but we did email the people on the list. Several of them confirmed that they had been blocked.
Regional Alternate James Wiley apparently responded to the Harlos email circulating news of the blockade, writing:
“Ma’am,
The LNC is no longer your concern. Please mind your business.
With gratitude,
James Wiley”
Blocking LP members from emailing LNC members via their @lp.org email addresses would seem to be an opposite of openness.
There have been people on the LNC who have no idea what good management is all about and that is obvious.
