LP News Is Now Being Edited. Antilibertarian articles are now being deleted. The one we reported below is now gone.
Our article will remain here as a reminder that people need to watch the store, but the LNC has corrected its error.
Yes, really. We quote the article and add a screen shot. Our attention was brought to the article by Paul Darr, who responded to a suggestion that LNC members should ask where the LNC’s money was going. He cited LP News as an example.
Billionaires mobilize their protesters
The “No Kings” movement is anything but a grassroots anti-authoritarian protest against “kings and billionaires”. It is a well-coordinated effort funded by a group of socialist billionaires and dark-money NGOs to destabilize what is left of the American social fabric. Protesting for more government intervention as a solution to the current government intervention and calling it ant-authoritarian is a bit of a stretch. What they really think they’re fighting for is their version of authoritarianism.
It has been shown that the billionaire class and USAID have created a protest-industrial complex which has brought color revolutions that our government has used abroad for decades home to US soil. A color revolution is a political movement, usually violent, aimed at overthrowing a government or forcing regime change through mass protests, civil resistance, and symbolic campaigns. It often works in lock step with the movement’s media/academia complex, emphasizing the need for more government power and centralization. Thinking any billionaire has your best interests in mind is illusionary and it was only a few years ago that the establishment was promoting President Obama as some type of God. Not a king but a god. Believing that a politician has your best interests in mind is like believing a cashier at a store is your best friend because they smile and chat while ringing up your purchase.
They are all about feathering their own nest. Look how much the net worth of former Presidents jumped after their terms: Clinton had $1.3 million net worth before being elected. It jumped to $120 million net worth post presidency, Obama went from $1.3 million pre presidency to $70 million net worth, and the G. W. Bush went from $20 million to $40 million. So much for being public servants. Did your wealth increase like theirs? They are in a big club; all related to each other literally and guess what none of us are in their club. Notably, Donald Trump is the only president whose net worth went down after his presidency.
Researchers from the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), Peter Schweizer and Seamus Bruner, show more than $294 million flowed to No Kings partners via networks including:
Arabella Advisors: $79.7M+
Soros network: $72.1M+
Ford Foundation: $51.7M+
Tides Foundation: $45.5M+
Rockefeller Foundation: $28.6M+
Buffett network: $16.6M+
Bruner says Gates Foundation reportedly cut ties with Arabella amid political scrutiny. Many radical groups (beyond Antifa) receiving substantial funding.
The nationwide protests are being led by paid activists, not volunteers, then followed by a coalition described by many as ‘white boomers suffering TDS, and far-left socialist and progressive participants and people that don’t like America. So don’t for a second believe that the origin of these protests are grassroots. It’s just the billionaire workforce pushing a contrived narrative that the unsuspecting masses latch onto. They will use their opponents’ values as talking points but never use those values when they have power. Think for yourself, don’t be a billionaire’s pawn.

What caught my eye was “social fabric.” Anslinger speak-alike Roy Cline wrote of a “communist conspiracy to weaken the American social fabric by promoting the use of drugs” in a book titled “Red Cocaine.” Surely there’s no shortage of this screed, is there?
There is truth to the left promoting drug use to weaken the population into accepting socialism.
This is why libertarians should exercise caution when aligning with non-libertarian groups.
Libertarians believe in personal responsibility. If a person abuses drugs they should be held fully accountable for any damage they cause due to abusing drugs. If they screw their lives up because of using drugs they would not be able to run to government welfare programs to bail them out. They would have to rely on private charities or family or friends. If their drug abuse leads to their death that is their own fault. Libertarians also believe in property rights and the right to disassociate with people, so in a libertarian society some people may chose to discriminate against drug abusers.
Socialists do not believe in personal responsibility or property rights. Socialists want more people who are dependent on government programs. Socialists want people who are too weak and unwilling to resist big government. So having a population with a lot of people who are drugged out actually aids the socialist agenda.
LP News used to sell advertising space to help defray the costs associated with it.
The problem is that ad money must now come from private persons or Federal PACs. Once upon a time LP News could take money from anyone.
It appears the article has now been removed from the LP News website.
I remember when LP News used to be 100% written by staff & board members. The purpose was to inform members of what was going on in the LP & the affiliates. Often it was also used as a recruiting tool with an offer of a free issue with a inquiry sign-up. Often inserted in LP News was either a contribution form or an order form for LP Store.
