So these charges are secret? How is that legal/ethical?
Did they actually present the charges in a room with witnesses, or was it done in secret?
I don’t know whether she is innocent of everything or guilty of everything. Frankly, I don’t really care. But since she was taken ill, and having recently fallen victim myself to that minor cold they call Covid, I understand that it can hit you quickly and either very hard or not hard enough to even know you were sick. Everyone is different.
But Covid is not really important in this discussion. She was ill, whether it was Covid or who knows what, she was unable to attend the meeting. She could’ve fallen and broken a leg and been in the hospital and the situation would be the same.
Guilty, innocent, Kangaroo Court, or even the slightly less reputable Supreme Court of the United States, the charges should be public.
And I still don’t understand how following the will of the convention is a termination offense. Oh yeah. I forgot. This is a kangaroo court.
According to RONR, each side may call and examine witnesses at the trail. The trial is scheduled for 11/9/24, as noted in the article.

This focus of attention and energy is discouraging. The National Committee should be working on helping our Presidential candidates and Congressional candidates achieve optimum success at the polls.

Stewart you have that exactly right. The Meesus crowd has shown exactly who they are. McAddled and Malagoon are to expected. But Yeniscavich (sp?) and Hays are unexpected backstabbers. I know Harlos. She gets close to people easily and this has got to be terrible. People should check in on her.

I don’t know him but I do know you. Fairness is clouded by the party group”think” delusion. I put 30 years of my life into it and always tried to do the right thing but rarely if ever succeeded. I’m still JeffCo but NOT LP or any other party and do NOT regret being denied government voting rights in the least , to hell with the party and voting quite literally, but love for everyone still entrapped in this evil vortex and hope you all escape it soon with minimal damage just like any natural or in this case men made disaster.
For true freedom and liberty, down with coercive government at all levels and the self imposed quasi government torture of a “libertarian” electoral political party – unregister from voting today and cut up your l.p. Cards, end your membership renewal or pledge etc, unsubscribe from l.p. They will I am sure reap what they sow with other cases in line. Accidently(but with a famous disaster in mind) referred to the chair of this joke as Andrea not Angela(it seemed to be on the back of many minds-no one questioned that). And they are fooling no one except maybe themselves.
Why did Rutherford and Redpath bother running if they’re just going to abstain on all important issues instead of standing for anything at all?
I understand why the Mises PAC GOP moles vote as they do. It’s slimy, but at least consistent with their mission to destroy the party.
Apparently Rutherford and Redpath just wanted to notch additional valueless bullet points for their resumes or something rather than do their damn jobs.
They maybe waiting for the trial, where both sides get to produce evidence and witnesses.
My hope is they are saving their energy and aggravating votes for the time it will really matter: the fnancial or other big crisis to come.
I hardly think Bill Redpath, perhaps the greatest activist the LP has ever had, needs to “polish his resume.” I’m sure there are any number of Libertarians hoping that, should he choose to spend any more time on the LP, he lead an effort to Rescue, Repair, Rejuvenate, and Rebuild the LP in 2026.

Bill is a good man and tireless and amazingly competent one but resume polishing is its own trap for people who need it least and as I told him myself I can only hope ^ and wish he see his way to NOT waste any more time on the LP as I wish for all of you in true well wish fashion regardless how well not so well or not at all you know me and regardless of what you may think of me . Bill knows me pretty well I think. So he probably knows I have no ulterior or negative motive with this advice.

2 B fair I’m sure Bill feels like he’s doing the right thing and wants to be fair and judiciously weigh leverage and ran to further his work in ballot access and financial oversight etc , but the fact is all of it is wasted effort as I told him myself -> the party should not, can not, will not, be rescued repaired rejuvenated or rebuilt or replaced – it is past time for Bill, Caryn Ann and every other Atlas of the LP to shrug , but not to put myself in that category but yeah – it’s worse than wasted effort
