This fall RFK,Jr.’s PACs paid the nonprofit Rescue the West roughly three-quarters of a million dollars. Rescue the West Inc has Libertarian National Chair Angela McArdle as its sole point of contact. The nonprofit has no visible activities other than an ill-attended anti-war rally.
McArdle and her allies on the Libertarian National Committee had previously allowed Presidential candidate Kennedy (but not Libertarian Presidential Candidate Oliver) to form a joint fundraising committee (the Kennedy Victory Fund) with the Libertarian National Committee, allowing Kennedy (but not Oliver) to raise large sums of money for his Presidential campaign.
Raise? How? The joint campaign allowed Kennedy to use the National Committee’s donation limit (over $30,000, not the $3300 candidate limit) to take money from donors and have it spent on his campaign. Interesting datum, believed authentic:

She thinks she will through procedural trickery using Jacobs (who is now in even more ethically sticky waters) and the DC Court. How is this not defending campaign fundraising limits like its not an overreach of the two-party system to control the growth of its competition?
